Terms and Review Guidelines

Who can write reviews

Review guidelines

Honest reviews help people choose where to live, and negative reviews are welcome. To keep the site fair and safe, reviews must not:

Every review is checked automatically, and some are also checked by a person. We may decline, hide or remove reviews that break these guidelines, and we may suspend accounts that break them repeatedly.

Your content

You own your reviews. By posting one, you give RateMyHome a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to show, store, format and share it on the site and in search results, for as long as it stays on the site. You can delete your reviews at any time.

Reviews are opinions

Reviews are the personal opinions of the people who wrote them, not of RateMyHome. We don't check every fact in every review. Use reviews as one source of information, and visit or inspect a home before you sign anything.

Reporting and removal requests

Anyone can use "Report this review" on a review they believe breaks these guidelines. Property owners and managers can also email contact@ratemyhome.com.co with the address, the review and the reason. We look at every request and decide based on these guidelines. Disagreeing with a review isn't, by itself, a reason to remove it.

Using the site

No warranty and limits of liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, RateMyHome isn't liable for decisions you make based on content on the site, or for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and continuing to use the site means you accept the new terms.
